In addition to the four Åhus teams, 66 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 3 could be found in Group 1 together with Ronneby HK, HK Guldkroken Hjo, LVHK Lödde 2, Ystads IF HF 1, Halmstad Handboll 4, H43 Lund 4, Tomelilla IF 1, HK Eskil Eskilstuna 1 and Spånga HK Stockholm.

Åhus Handboll 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 with 8-10. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C2.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby with 6-8.
