In addition to the 6 Åhus teams, 44 other teams played in Pojkar 2007 D1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Alingsås HK 2, IK Lågan Hörby 1, Halmstad Handboll 3, Veberöds HK, H 65 Höör, IFK Bankeryd 2, Vinslövs HK 1, Åhus Handboll 6 and Karlskrona Handboll 1.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 3 with 2-9. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2007 D1.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2007 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P07 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 1-11.
