In addition to the three Åhus teams, 76 other teams played in Pojkar 2005 C1. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Alingsås HK 1, LVHK Lödde 2, Karlskrona Handboll 2, Täby HBK Sthlm 2, Borlänge HK 2, H43 Lund 2, Kävlinge HK 1, Halmstad Handboll 5 and Ystads IF HF 5.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H 65 Höör 1 with 7-10. In the Final, Alingsås HK 2 won over Växjö HF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005 C1.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2005 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd 1 with 6-7.
