In addition to the four Åhus teams, 66 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 7 together with HK Eklöven 2, Halmstad Handboll VIT 1, Skara HK, IFK Kristianstad 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm, Staffanstorps HK, HK Malmö and Tollarps IF.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 2 with 5-13. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 4 won over IFK Kristianstad 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C2.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby with 6-8.
