In addition to the four Åhus teams, 66 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Uppsala HK 1, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka, Växjö HF 1, IFK Kristianstad 2, H43 Lund 3, Eslövs HF 2, Årsta AIK Stockholm 2, Västerås Irsta HF and Kungälvs HK.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HK Malmö with 12-13. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 4 won over IFK Kristianstad 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C2.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby with 6-8.
