In addition to the three Åhus teams, 76 other teams played in Pojkar 2005 C1. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 6 together with H43 Lund 1, Kävlinge HK 2, IK Sävehof Partille 1, Västerås Irsta HF 2, Vinslövs HK 2, IFK Ystad HK 2, HK Hök Laholm, Karlskrona Handboll 1 and Täby HBK Sthlm 3.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund 3 with 5-14. In the Final, H43 Lund 3 won over LVHK Lödde 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005 C1.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2005 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd 1 with 6-7.
