In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK could be found in Group 5 together with Lödde Vikings HK 1, Torslanda HK Vit, IK Sävehof 1, IK Bolton Blåsut, Halmstad Handboll 3, H43 Lund HF Migogang, IFK Kristianstad 2, HK Ankaret 1 and Karlskrona Handboll 2.

Uppsala HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Aranäs 1 with 9-10. In the Final, IK Sävehof 2 won over Tyresö Handboll and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002.

Uppsala HK also participated in Pojkar 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in P02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF migogang with 8-9.
