In addition to the three Åhus teams, 73 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 8 together with H 65 Höör 3, Karlskrona Handboll, Gustavsbergs IF HK, Spånga HK Stockholm 2, IK Baltichov Gbg, Borlänge HK 7, Lugi HF 1 and IFK Hammarö 1.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H 65 Höör 2 with 11-12. In the Final, Kärra HF Göteborg 2 won over Staffanstorps HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Uppsala HK 2 with 5-9.
