In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2003. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with HK Aranäs Rosa, Ovesholms IF 2, Huddinge HK Vit, IK Sävehof 2 Svart, Lödde Vikings HK 04, Höörs HK H 65 03, IF Hallby HK, Staffanstorps HK 2 and H 78 Sölvesborg.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Spånga HK Hav with 5-10. In the Final, H43 Lund HF won over Kristianstad HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2003.

Uppsala HK also participated in Flickor 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F03 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Gustavsbergs IF HK 2 with 7-8.
